Well since i'm obsessed with chocolate i would say chocolate, but it isn't really a summer snack since it melts...
My second favourite food is fruit!
There are three ways in which i love to eat my fruit so here you go:
1 Smoothies! I always use lemonade or orange juice as a base. Then i add banana/nectarine/berries or other fruits. Lastly some ice cubes and there you go!
2 Secondly, fruit salads. A couple of months ago i first tasted blueberries and i love them! They're quite expensive, but they're perfect to put in a fruit salad with apple, melon, banana, orange, grapes and other berries. By the way frozen blueberries are also amazing, but be careful. You'll probably get purple fingers!
3 My favourite fruit besides watermelon and blueberries is apple. Don't ask me why, because it's the most regular fruit. I like the fresh taste, but there is nothing better than add a little bit sweetness to it. Here are three ways to eat apple:
The first one is with white chocolate. I first melted the chocolate and then dipped the apple pieces in there. The second one is with peanut butter and chocolate sprinkles. I made it, because there are a lot of people who recommend apple with peanut butter. In my opinion it wasn't as nice as other people said it would be. Still i added it to this tiny list, because maybe one of you likes it! The last way is with caramel syrup! This is definitely my favourite one, because it's so easy to make in contrast to the white chocolate apples. We always have the brand Van Gilse for the syrup.
4 The last summer snack is a pizza watermelon. I haven't made it myself yet, but i'm definitely planning to. I'll probably use this recipe, but you can use any fruit you want!
I hope i inspired some of you to stay healthy even with snacks. Sometimes fruit is so much better than a candy or cookie. Mostly with one of these tips!
